Next Friday Seminar on art&culture will take place in Millennium Senate Congress Hall of Girne American University on October, 28, 11.00-13.00.
Entitled “Summer School. Enrico Guidoni”, it will be held by the Vice Rector of GAU, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hossein Sadri; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Adil and the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, Design & Fine Arts, the Director of International Centre for Heritage Studies, Assist. Prof. Dr. Alessandro Camiz.
Lecturers of Girne American University, such as Ms Hassina Nafa and Dr. Valentina Donà, will also make a significant contribution to this interesting seminar.
The seminar’s main theme is dedicated to the presentation of the works of the International Summer School “ENRICO GUIDONI” City and Territory: Archaeology and Architecture, organised by the International Centre for Heritage Studies in September in Castel Madama and Rome.
The summer school aims to develop the students’ knowledge of architecture and archaeology, at the urban and territorial scale, in Rome and in the surroundings.
We can indeed consider these territories as a reference for the general understanding of architecture, and therefore these contexts can help the full understanding of the relationships between architecture and archaeology.
The summer school includes modules of history, archaeology, urban-morphology, methodologies for heritage survey, restoration, landscape, heritage management and design.
Seminar will be organized by Ass. Prof. Dr. Esra Plumer Bardak and Phd. Student, Alessandro Bruccoleri.
Join this thought-provoking event and enrich yourself with some knowledge of art, architecture & history this Friday, on the 28th October.
