Harid Fedai was born in Lefke in 1930-s and played a great role in Cyprus society, in its cultural life.
He established the Bayrak Radio and TV station, wrote numerous books (such as ‘Mulla or Hodja Nasreddin as seen by Cypriot Turks and Greeks’, for example)
Harid Fedai extensive literature works also define him as a prolific researcher, social activist, and famous personality of Cyprus scene.
On the day when Haris Fedai has just passed away we would like to express our condolescences to Harid Fedai’s family and Cyprus community, for which he will always be an ambassador of Cyprus cultural heritage, the Person of a great scope of influence, who made a valuable contribution to the world of art and literature.
We would like to state that the products of Harid Fedai’s profound thought and the reflections of his soul, omnipresent in his works of art, will always remain alive here on the island, and in the entire world. Harid Fedai became immortal because of his contributions to the Cyprus cultural life, because of him still being alive in the hearts of his admirers….
