April, 7 was designated as the World’s Day of Health. So here are the few tips on longevity and healthy life for our dear Readers.
Special thanks to Kayros O’Hara, who contributed this material as an excerpt from his highly valuable book: “Secrets of Longevity and Mysteries of Immortality”!
“…Be sure to drink more good healthy water or meltwater — thus you will quickly help your body to cleanse itself from toxins. To do this, take some plain water (not tap water, but spring or bottled water); freeze it until it is fully iced. Then thaw it until a piece of ice the size of an egg floats in the water. In it, there is the largest number of heavy water molecules. Get rid of the ice; and you may sip the meltwater. The quickening effect of meltwater is most favorable within six hours after thawing.
It is recommended to take two or three glasses of meltwater a day right after its thawing; its temperature should not be over 10°C (50°F). You should drink a glass of it at once, in one sitting; but before doing that, you should rather get used to drinking cold water — in small sips, holding it in the mouth for a while. It is better to drink meltwater on an empty stomach, in the morning, afternoon and evening, before meals; with nothing to eat or to drink for an hour after. There are no restrictions in its use. <….>
Difference between the meltwater and the plain water is that after freezing and subsequent thawing many centers of crystallization appear in the former. Crystallized, ordered structure of ice ideally fits the ordered structure of cell membranes. Besides, there is a perceptible enhancement in taste of meltwater, as well as the taste of food prepared with the use of it.
Meltwater gives a person a lot of strength, vigor, and energy. <….> It has been repeatedly mentioned that people who drink meltwater are not just healthier, but also more productive; they have better brain efficiency, activity and the ability to solve difficult problems easily.
The fact that those who consume meltwater need less sleep (from four to six hours), confirms the high energy potential of meltwater. Meltwater is known to contribute to rejuvenation. There is evidence that people who constantly use pure meltwater (for example, mountain dwellers), live much longer than townsmen. This explains the phenomenon of Hunza people living in the mountainous areas of northern Pakistan. It is a small tribal community of fifty thousand people living in the Himalayas; and they know neither diseases nor old age. Their average lifespan is one hundred and twenty. Hundred-year-old men and women look slender and attractive; they are light and flexible. This example of longevity of the Hunza people is a result of their life high in the mountains, among the eternal snows, on the banks of the river Hunza. The source of the river is among the ancient glaciers with blue ice. It means that the water there is very pure and, like distilled water, practically does not contain mineral salts — unlike spring water or water from deep wells.
An experiment was conducted by scientists: they placed two saucers before newly hatched chickens — one saucer with plain water, and another one with melt water. The silly little chickens — all as one — unconditionally chose meltwater. Other fauna examinees did the same thing. It was also noticed that if domestic animals and poultry drank meltwater, their productivity increased — hens gave more eggs, cows gave more milk. Scientists have also found that the birds that reside in warm parts of the world, head north in search of meltwater — they drink it; bathe in it, regaining their natural energy. Daily, it is necessary to consume approximately as much water as of food. Nevertheless, you have to remember: tea, coffee, beverages, and wine contribute more to the loss of water than to its absorption. It is necessary to drink at least two liters of really pure water a day. If the daily pure water consumption is less than that, then the skin gets dry, fatigue and headache appear. If it is better to eat less than you want, then it is better to drink more than you want. Because man consists of water — 80% as a newborn, 70% as an adult, and 58% as an old man. Ageing is ‘drying’. <…>
Try to create a situation when you drink more water. For instance, imagine that your body needs a bigger amount of water since the blood circulation increases and thereby the vitality of the whole body multiplies.
Even tiny wrinkles may get smooth thanks to a better moisturizing of skin. Besides, drink a glass of cold water or juice on an empty stomach every morning. As a reflex, it stimulates the work of intestine. Every morning, spend few minutes to massage your abdomen. Place one palm on the other (or use just one palm) and make slow circle movements clockwise around the bellybutton, increasing the pressure with each round. Massage more actively the left lower part of the abdomen where the sigmoid colon is located….” (By KAYROS O’HARA)
