Pakistani “chai”-brewer seems to become social media star of vast area uniting his homeland and India.
It all started when photographer Jiah Ali noticed the handsome chai-wallah at Sunday bazaar in Islamabad . Her Instagram photo spread all over the diverse social media platforms and gained popularity among Indians. This contributed to warming of tense relationships between two countries – the rivalry of which has also implied the ban to use Pakistani actors in Indian film industry.
The hero spotted on the trendy picture was identified as Arshad Khan, 18-year-old’s tea maker from Kohat district, who had been working at the Itwar Bazaar for three months.
Arshad realised his approaching fame when he saw boys passing by with flyers comprising the photo of himself. In addition, various media otlets started asking him for an interview.
Arshad Khan’s reaction seems to be one of the real professional: though surprised and flattered by such attention, he preferred not to be distracted from work and not to be shooted during it.
Sudden fame increased in momentum when an online retailer, Fitin.Pk, proposed Khan to model its clothes.
Arshad got used to the limelight easily and looks natural behind the camera, reporters claim. What`s more, he expressed his willingness to start working in film & TV industry in the short future.

Though Mumbai union of actors and film makers has once banned the employment of Pakistani workers and deported them from India, it is now believed that things may change under the charm of new Pakistani star, Arshad Khan.
